🇰🇷 Jeju Lee Jung-seop Art Museum Creative Studio

Already last year.. Jeju trip in February 2025.. There was a place I really wanted to visit. Lee Jung Seop Art Museum~~ But at that time the Lee Jung Seop Art Museum was under construction... At the Lee Jung Seop Art Museum Creative Studio located next to it, the Lee Jung Seop Archive was being exhibited on a small scale. It was snowing heavily that day, so it was nice to escape the snow while viewing the exhibition~haha

I learned the story of how he fell in love with Ms. Yamamoto Masako, whom he met during his studies in Japan, and their movie-like marriage. They tried to endure with love in difficult times, but faced a lonely ending in front of the cruel reality of war.... It was even more heartbreaking. The Lee Jung Seop Archive exhibition is free to visit, and although the scale is not large, the chronological explanations are well organized. It was nice to easily explore the artist's life and works

It's a place I really want to visit again when the Lee Jung Seop Art Museum reopens~~ (Construction period: ~February 2027)
