Honest review of Da Nang's Linh Ung Pagoda! A giant Lady Buddha statue reminiscent of Haedong Yonggungsa 🌊🙏

I visited Linh Ung Pagoda, a seaside temple located on the Son Tra Peninsula in Da Nang! Seeing the temple nestled so refreshingly near the blue sea cliffs naturally reminded me of Haedong Yonggungsa Temple in Busan, Korea. Personally, I felt that the scenery of cliffs and waves at Haedong Yonggungsa was a bit more beautiful, but in terms of the overall site size and grand scale, Yeongheungsa seemed much larger. 🏯 Massive 67m Haesu Gwanum Statue: The huge white Buddha statue, visible even from afar, was truly overwhelming. Looking up from below, its grandeur was incredible. Wide-open Da Nang ocean view: Standing in the temple courtyard or by the railing, you can see a refreshing view of My Khe Beach and the Da Nang coastline, which makes you feel incredibly refreshed. 🌊 Charming bonsai garden: There are many large, carefully tended bonsai trees and statues throughout the temple, making it a wonderful place to take a slow stroll and enjoy the sights. It was an essential viewpoint course where you can enjoy a leisurely stroll through the temple amidst the sea breeze and take in the wide-open ocean view of Da Nang all at once! 😊
