✈️Review) Hoi An Emerald Riverside Resort
Vinh Hung Emerald Resort Emerald Hoi An Riverside Resort This is the place I finally chose after struggling over three lodging options in Hoi An. At first, I booked the Central Hotel, a place I'd wanted to visit for a long time, cheaply for great value, but ended up canceling because of my travel companions.. In the end, between Vinh Hung Riverside Resort and Emerald, I went with Emerald.~^^ Emerald Resort is right next to Belmarina, but since many Korean guests go to Belmarina, relatively speaking, there aren't many Korean people staying here. I had stayed at Belmarina before, and my younger sibling was staying at Emerald Resort, so I went to visit. I already knew about the interior and room conditions, and it's a place I had said I'd definitely come to someday. Night market is just a 3-5 minute walk away ~^^

Like Belmarina, there's a swimming pool in the center, and accommodations are arranged in a U-shape surrounding it while overlooking the river. The garden is really beautiful. There are many photo spots and it's great for taking walks. The garden hosts various events including food-making activities, and I heard they offer boat rides on the Tubon River, but unfortunately I couldn't arrange the schedule and didn't have time to check it out.

Families with small children should book a 1st floor pool view room - it's convenient to go back and forth to the pool right from your room.

On the day of my check-in, the river had risen due to the typhoon, so they had blocked off the area along the riverside so people couldn't go there. The photo on the right is the check-in counter on the 2nd floor.

I booked two standard rooms. When I asked for connecting rooms at check-in, the staff smiled and mentioned an upgrade. It seems they upgraded us to a standalone top floor, like a villa building. Going up from the 2nd floor by one more level felt like a unique structure, and when we got up there, it was a standalone floor rooftop-style with only two rooms. I thought it would be a connecting room where a middle door inside the room opens, but it turned out the veranda doors opened to connect to each other~^^ We went back and forth through the veranda doors. The downside was there was no elevator, but the staff carried all our luggage, so we didn't have to go up and down carrying our bags.

The room was spacious, and there was even a tree garden in the veranda yard—it had a sofa and table too, just like an independent villa. The view overlooking the pool was great, and looking out at the riverside from the side was nice too. I loved it soooo much!!♡ The bathroom had windows in several spots, and the room had windows and a veranda door on both sides, so it felt wonderfully open.

The bathroom is super spacious too~

The room is spacious enough that you can easily lay out two or three suitcases on the floor.

Overall review: If you're choosing a resort-style stay near the night market area, I think I'd go with Emerald again rather than Bel Marina. https://maps.app.goo.gl/fvDym4v5kaAGgSpW8
