Large Family Da Nang & Hoi An Trip Review! Rental Car Driver Tips & Ba Na Hills Cable Car Trapped Story 😱

This trip was a Danang and Hoi An itinerary that our large family of 8 went on together! Since there were so many of us, transportation was our biggest concern, but we hired one Grab driver for the entire itinerary. With a spacious vehicle for pickup, moving between tourist attractions, and returning to our accommodation, everything went smoothly—zero transportation stress! If you're traveling with 8 or more people, I absolutely and wholeheartedly recommend hiring a driver for the full day. 👍 During my trip, I thoroughly explored Ba Na Hills, Hoi An Old Town, and Da Nang downtown. When I was at Ba Na Hills, something unforgettable and thrilling happened to me...😭 I was having a great time and was about to head down, when suddenly the weather took a turn for the worse and the cable car was suspended for a whole hour! The wind was blowing strongly and the cable was long, so I genuinely broke out in a cold sweat. Fortunately, after about an hour, operations resumed safely and I was able to descend without incident. Looking back on it now, I think this has become a pretty dynamic memory for me. There were some weather fluctuations, but thanks to our Grab driver, we were able to travel comfortably, enjoy lots of delicious food, and take beautiful family photos together.
