A great nem nướng restaurant - https://maps.app.goo.gl/SE2knks9ean55PzH8 When you travel to Vietnam, among the local foods, like Nha Trang or Da Lat cuisine, you often eat a lot of nem nướng, don't you?

This is the real nem nướng. Just dip it fully in the golden yellow secret sauce and that's it — perfect!! Rice paper you eat wrapped without water — I came to Korea and tried to buy it at a nearby Vietnamese grocery store...

As shown in the photo above, that's the only product they have. I asked them, "Why don't you sell the thin, soft kind?" And they said... "Apparently that kind has a short shelf life." Ah, so that's why it's hard to import, I thought. During my last visit, I found rice paper at Lotte Mart—the thin kind that you roll up without soaking in water. Some of you may already know about it. As for that product...

This is the one! This product is also a nem nướng-style item that you roll and eat without soaking it in water. Eaten plain, it's nicely salty. If you can't forget the texture of nem nướng, I really recommend this product. Even without charcoal-grilled meat, if you buy a similar frozen product and wrap it up to eat, it tastes pretty similar. I tried to make the dipping sauce myself... but it seems like you have to simmer it for a long time with glutinous rice paste, old squash, and other ingredients, so it doesn't look easy to follow. That said, it doesn't seem impossible either, haha. Anyway~ If you ever go to Đà Lạt, make sure to stop by!!
