Da Nang review ✈️ Facilities at the Da Nang Awaken Hotel

All the amenities at the Awaken Hotel are gathered together on the 6th floor. There are three sections: the GYM, the Kids Club, and the pool. It's right there as soon as you step off the elevator! The GYM is stocked with just the equipment you need. When we went, there was no one there, but as time went by, quite a few people came to work out. The Kids Club is nice and cozy. Since there's no one there to look after kids, I think it's better suited for children who can communicate rather than very young ones. The pool has a roof over it, so except when the weather is hot, it seems like it would be cold. Even though I went in early September, the water already felt chilly. There aren't many sun loungers either, so it's good to grab a spot early. Life jackets and beach towels are provided, so... Feel free to use it as you like. The water depth is about 1.4m at most, so it's not that deep. It's right next to the kids' pool, so if you're bringing young children, you'll probably want to watch them closely. When we went, there were actually more people taking photos because of the nice view than people actually swimming... It was early morning, so the pool bar wasn't open yet. If you request it from the staff member on duty, drinks and simple/convenience foods can be ordered.
