We've tried floating candles from the wish boat about twice ourselves, and even though it might seem like nothing special, it really does set a nice mood and feels great, so we'd love to recommend the wish boat ride to you. But we know there might be some of you, like us, whose kids don't like riding the wish boat, or who get seasick and can't ride it. In that case, why not just buy some wish candles and try the experience of floating them along the river~ It's a place with pretty aggressive touting, so the price of the wish candles is basically whatever they name, so haggling is a must~ I bought 5 wish candles for 30,000 dong and lit them on the pole they lent me, then floated them on the river. Even the kids who said they didn't want to ride the boat or float candles ended up having fun once they actually tried it, even though they're already big kids They made a wish and did pretty much everything there was to do 🤣 Turns out they just simply hated getting on boats;; Since I came all this way to travel, I wanted to enjoy the mood and try everything everyone else does, so being a little greedy about it really paid off 😅
