A local rental car in Da Nang, something you really should try at least once! Since our trip was short again like last time, I booked a rental car for a day trip to Hoi An. An Bang Beach La Plage – Hoi An Old Town – back to the Da Nang hotel. When I went down to the lobby, a familiar-faced driver was waiting, and I was so glad to see him. We've met so many times now that his face has become familiar to me, haha. He's a dad with three daughters, and his name was Khang, though on KakaoTalk it's written as "khang.

Just like last time, he guided us through a shortcut behind La Plage, and said something or other to the La Plage staff~ haha. After leaving La Plage and going to the Old Town shampoo place, he said something to the staff there too~ haha. After looking around Old Town and the night market, since it was time for the Da Nang hotel transfer, we sent the driver off from the shampoo place and told him we'd meet at the roundabout near Youn's Kitchen. After sightseeing in Hoi An, we met the driver at the roundabout near Youn's Kitchen, I'm back at the hotel. For the rental car, if it's on the route heading toward the general schedule, it's fine to stop by places along the way for a bit. Even if I book the rental car for the whole day, the driver is human too, so driving around all day can be tiring, so I tend to send them home early whenever possible.
