The year-end and New Year holidays are...

I'm in Phu Quoc

Last Tet I went to Phu Quoc Island and relaxed—nothing but good memories. But then I went back to Japan... so I booked a November trip to Phu Quoc again! I made the reservation feeling I'd surely be back within the year—I'm going back!

フーコックへ

Packed light, tossed in three bottles of wine, and off we go!! Riding to the pool, eating and drinking... time to refresh!!

The weather isn't great, but... when we reached the hotel, it was... paradise~

Mリゾートエントランスへ

The path to the room—lush plants, tree shade, sunlight—evokes Ubud in Bali. None of the lively bustle so typical of Vietnam's streets. The hotel we picked has cottages that are each fascinating. The rooms aren't very large, but some are two-story and some single-story. Within the compact space, the arrangement of plants and building layout is cleverly done, so even close-set neighboring cottages feel private

Step inside and the ceiling is high, the windows framed in wood!

We said we'd refresh, yet my husband Sei got buried in work and holed himself up. 'Oh dear, poor thing~' I thought, glancing over as I read in the breeze

So comfortable, simply the best!! I got my year-end holiday a bit early and came back home to Ho Chi Minh. In just one year Phu Quoc Island has become something incredible... but more on that later. Expat Life Ranking
