Actually, I wasn't really planning to go to the Marble Mountains...
Originally, I was planning to visit Linh Ung Pagoda on the Son Tra Peninsula, but because the Grab driver got Linh Ung Pagoda mixed up, the trip ended up taking me to the Marble Mountains instead, and
Actually, Da Nang's Marble Mountains were even better, with their pretty scenery and peaceful temples!

As it turns out, the temple inside the Marble Mountains (Ngu Hanh Son) was also called Linh Ung Pagoda (Linh Ung)...
It would be good to look into it carefully beforehand so you don't get confused!

Marble Mountains Elevator VS Stairs

When you arrive at the Marble Mountains, you'll find the elevator right at the main entrance!
You can board only after paying for both the 40,000 VND admission ticket and the 15,000 VND elevator fee together!
If you take the stairs, you'll be climbing more than 100 stone steps, so if you're worried about your stamina, we recommend the elevator route!

The elevator at Marble Mountains was bigger than I expected and made of transparent glass, so even with lots of people riding together, we could go up really quickly 🌱
The ride only takes about 1–2 minutes, but it's so much less tiring than walking that I absolutely recommend it, especially during the hot hours of the day!

What is there to see at the Marble Mountains?
When you climb up the Marble Mountains, it feels more like walking through a temple complex than being on a 'mountain.
🗼Marble pagodas, Buddha statues, and small altars
They're scattered here and there like hidden treasures, so you'll find yourself taking a careful look around the whole time you walk!

A cozy little temple perched at the edge of a cliff catches your eye, and this is Linh Ung Pagoda inside the Marble Mountains 🔥
A quiet temple hidden in the mountains, not grand, but all the cozier and more serene for it🌱
A place where the sound of Buddhist chanting brought peace to my mind

Inside, traditional Buddha statues and incense burners were placed, and we could also see locals quietly praying.

In the temple courtyard, small marble pagodas, animal statues, and little altars are scattered about irregularly, and
It felt like a space where nature and harmony come together beautifully.

📌 After visiting Linh Ung Pagoda at the Marble Mountains, the real cave exploration begins
The very first place we went into as soon as we stepped off the elevator was Tambi Cave.
At first I just went in without any real expectations, but the scenery inside was so impressive that it stopped me in my tracks. 😲

The cave itself wasn't large, but the statues, the way the space was arranged, and the time soaked into the rock walls made it feel as if someone had been offering prayers there for a very long time. 🙏
As the first cave you encounter right after stepping off the elevator, it was a truly wonderful space to quietly calm your mind. 🌿

The cave entrance was low and dark, but after just a few steps inside, a space decorated like a small temple suddenly opened up ⛰️
All around, the incense sticks that people had placed were gently burning. ✨
What stood out most in my memory was the stone statue of two immortals playing janggi, placed in one corner of the cave. ♟️🧙♂️
A scene of two figures who look like Taoist immortals sitting face to face, with a janggi board spread out on a stone, taking turns making their moves one by one
It wasn't bright, which made the atmosphere all the more mysterious and tranquil.

It was dark inside the cave, so I was walking quietly, when suddenly I heard a whoosh! of flapping wings from somewhere, and when I turned my head to look,
A bat was flying around through a gap in the ceiling. 🦇
I was a little startled, but even that made me truly feel that this place is a real natural cave!

After we finished exploring the Marble Mountains, we were really thirsty from all the walking, and
I had a coconut from the souvenir shop, and my thirst completely disappeared~
I never knew coconut water was so delicious, but after trying it this time, I've come to love coconut water even more than water 🥰♥️

As you walk among the marble mountains and grottoes that live up to the name Marble Mountains,
Marble Mountains, where I could feel a unique sensation as if time were flowing slowly
I think it would be nice for all of you to spend a day at the Marble Mountains, quietly walking through the mountains and taking time to reflect. 🌱
