Korean chain store Mokgumeong (Throat)

I wondered what kind of samgyeopsal (grilled pork belly) could be worth traveling all the way to Nha Trang, Vietnam for, but I was blown away because it was genuinely more delicious than most decent restaurants in Korea. The staff grilled the thick cuts of meat right on a cast-iron lid with perfect timing, so I could eat comfortably without lifting a finger, which was really wonderful. The combination of water dropwort, kimchi, and bean sprouts grilled together in the oil is the sheer terror of that 'familiar taste' that no Korean could ever resist. I visited right when I was getting tired of the distinctive smell of the local food, and the combo of the spicy bibim noodles and the meat was a total cheat code that made everything go down so easily. The air conditioning was blasting so it was pleasant, and it's a place I'd absolutely recommend for taking your parents along during a Nha Trang trip or whenever you're craving proper Korean food.
