🌴 A coin purse made with Owl Wallet

You probably carry a lot of dong wallets when traveling to Vietnam, right? I also carried a dong wallet during my early trips to Vietnam. After using it a few times, I found that the dong wallet took up quite a bit of space and was inconvenient. So I made my own version — a dong wallet made from an owl wallet. I bought an owl wallet cheaply for a few thousand won in Da Nang, and at first I put a few horizontal money envelopes inside the wallet and I labeled them by the dong amount to keep them separated. 10,000 dong, 20,000 dong, 50,000 dong... like this ~^^ After using it for so many years, the money envelope inside my wallet has worn out and is all tattered now. lol But now! I don't even need the dividers anymore lol Sorting them in order by the dong number got inconvenient too, so I just end up shoving them in however. heh heh heh I was thinking of carrying the long wallet I have at home instead Once I tried using it, I find the Cheonji wallet more comfortable. Haha. On my last trip, the zipper on my owl wallet broke, so I bought a new one at Seonjaya Market. I keep the receipts I get each time, so later when I'm curious about the amount, I can check them, and I always keep a pen in it too. Sometimes I need to jot something down. ^^ It's also great for carrying a bankbook, and even though it's just a Cheonji wallet, I'm finding it surprisingly useful. If it's your first trip to Vietnam and you get confused by the Dong currency numbers, try using a wallet like a long wallet (bill-fold style) — put your money envelopes in it, separate them into compartments, and label each one ~^^
