Doya Jjamppong

Translated from Korean
Doya Jjamppong
After eating nothing but Vietnamese food, right when my stomach started to feel a bit greasy, I was craving something spicy, so I checked the Google ratings and went to find this place — it was an excellent choice. Their signature dish, jjamppong, tasted exactly like the fiery, smoky, and spicy broth I used to have in Korea, so the moment I took a bite, I felt my stomach instantly settle. The crispy fried glutinous rice sweet-and-sour pork also had thick, chewy meat, making it a perfect combo to order as a set with jjajangmyeon. The inside of the restaurant was really clean and the air conditioning was blasting so strong that I could enjoy the hot, spicy jjamppong comfortably and coolly, which was great. The staff were friendly too, and the prices weren't burdensome even when converted to Korean won, so I absolutely recommend this place whenever you're missing proper Korean-style Chinese food during a trip to Da Nang.
