🇻🇳 [Da Nang Trip Review ✈️] Visiting Nam Son Pagoda

March 2025 trip to Da Nang with my pretty girlfriend ✈️ While riding in a rental car driver's vehicle on the way to Hoi An, she mentioned she hadn't been able to visit My Son Sanctuary yet, so we ended up making a last-minute visit.

In early March, the weather in Da Nang was breezy and cool, not hot at all, so even shots taken from inside a moving car came out nicely capturing My Khe beach. It's a bit of a distance from downtown Da Nang to Linh Ung Pagoda (Nam Son Temple) — it took about 20 to 30 minutes by car to arrive at the temple.

The temple isn't huge in scale, but there are so many beautiful photo spots everywhere~ Since it's a real temple where people actually do temple stays and offer prayers/meals, it's kept extremely well maintained. When you're looking around the temple, please always stay quiet!! You need to walk around silently~ Maybe because of that, it felt even more serene and peaceful.

It should take about 30 minutes to look around the pretty temple ^^ On the last day of your trip, a course of Yeong Heung Temple, Nam Seon Temple, and downtown Da Nang would be nice too, and if your trip is longer, it seems like a good idea to visit leisurely sometime during your trip. I wonder if they raise them right there at the temple... When it's feeding time, an auntie brings out balls of rice and feeds the pigeons, fish, and turtles. These little ones gathered on their own to eat! Amazing 😆 I just watched her for a long while, haha. I also caught a video of an airplane flying up in the sky. I don't know much about it, but a friend told me it's the flight path planes take coming down into Da Nang Airport. Maybe that's why it looked so incredibly close. In moments like this, even if just for a bit, I feel like I've gone back to being a kid.
