Danang review ✈️ I won't go there during Vietnamese holidays~

I set the dates for this trip without thinking much about it, and only later realized it fell on a Vietnamese national holiday. Still, I heard that a lot of places would be open as usual, so I set off with an easy mind. What I was most curious about when going to Da Nang was the roasted corn place. I missed out on it last time and was disappointed. I heard they were reopening in August, so I thought I'd finally get to try it this time, but... they weren't open. 😭 Sadly, this one's just not meant to be for us~ The second place I wanted to go was the sweet potato tempura shop!! Closed until September 2nd... 😭 The third place I wanted to try was Bánh Xèo (the crispy pancake place)!! This one doesn't even open until September 4th... 😭 Every single place I went to was closed, so I struck out three times in a row. But I'm a Korean with unbreakable willpower who never gives up, aren't I? Except for the roasted corn shop, I timed my visits to match the opening dates, and I succeeded at two places 😁 But when I think back to that moment of showing up for nothing, I've made up my mind that I'll never go during Vietnamese holidays again.
