✈️ Review of my custom-tailored one-piece skirt from a flea market

This is the ao dai tailoring shop in front of the underwear store at stall #165 in Han Market. The fabric in the first photo was so pretty that I thought about having an ao dai made... Then I thought about going with a simple sleeveless strap dress that would be easy to wear... but after much thought, I just ordered a skirt to wear casually in the summer too. Adding a lining raises the price. I went with a waistband and zipper, and had a side slit added along the leg line. The length is knee-length, below the knee. The skirt alone is 400,000 dong. My friend didn't like the china-collar neckline, so she asked for it to be cut round and ordered it as a dress. Since there wasn't enough time, they said to come pick it up the next day. So I went the next day, but they'd only roughly pinned it with basting pins and hadn't actually finished it. They said try it on, then it's back to the sewing machine and all that... Tried it on, fixed the lines, and got the OK sign! They told me to wait an hour, but I didn't have time for that. They said they'd come back again the next day. I went back the next day, but they'd only roughly basted it and hadn't finished... T_T This was my third visit, and they told me to wait again. It seems like they're so busy that they only handle alterations for people standing right there. When you go to pick up your clothes, get the alteration done and wait right there on the spot. That way you don't get pushed back in line and they seem to do it faster. On the last day, I just stood there next to them. The staff there had to fix things and answer phone calls, and the people waiting kept asking them to hurry up, so it seemed like everyone was overwhelmed with no time to think. I wanted to ask them to hurry up too, but I worried that if I rushed them they'd do a sloppy job, so I held back and stayed as relaxed as I could... haha But on a trip, time is money...
