Da Nang trip review ✈️ Hoi An night market food

When you go to the Hoi An night market, there are so many delicious foods lined up everywhere, so I'm sure many of you have tried them at least once~ I'm someone who loves eating and is really serious about food, haha, so once I get curious I just can't hold back, my curiosity kicks right in. You have to actually taste it to know whether it's a hidden gem or a place to skip, right? It's the same with street food~ It looks delicious, but once you actually eat it... Bad-tasting food! Of course, personal tastes and preferences differ, so please just take this as reference, and make the choice for yourselves ^^ For example, the food in the photo below looks really delicious, doesn't it? I heard it was milk-grilled cheese, so I bought one and gave it a try. Hmm... maybe because it's cheese grilled in oil, there was this oily, rancid smell...😅 Eliminated from the very first bite!! Since it's street food, of course the ingredients can't be that great. Still, even if it wasn't the stretchy, gooey cheese I imagined, I hoped it wouldn't be like rubber-band cheese... Maybe that was just my greed, haha. In the end, I left some behind... (Maybe it was just the place I ate at...) Second dish! Bánh tráng nướng, famous as "Đà Lạt pizza"! It's a food you can commonly see all over Vietnam. I tried it at two night markets - Son Tra Night Market and Hoi An Night Market. On the grill where they cook banh trang nuong, they also throw on squid, dried fish, corn and all sorts of other things, so the banh trang nuong itself soaked up every one of those mixed flavors. It ended up tasting bad and just weird. In the end, I even left behind the banh trang nuong I love 😭

Let me give you one little tip — like in the photo below, there are also street stalls that sell only Bánh Canh Nuong (grilled noodle skewers)~ If you want to enjoy Bánh Canh Nuong the best way, definitely, make sure to try it at a place that only sells Bánh Canh Nuong~ It'll taste completely different! Since you're paying the same money either way, eating at a delicious place feels better and makes your mouth happy too~😁

I can't recommend this to those sensitive about hygiene, but if you can turn a blind eye, do try the local food too ^^
