🏨 Shilla Monogram "Lantern Making Class

A fam tour I joined through an acquaintance! Shilla Monogram April 12–15, 2026 The signature lanterns of Hoi An! They hang everywhere you go, and once the sun sets, they put on a fantastic night view. Lanterns that are pretty and dazzling, but ones I used to just pass by without a second look. There was a lantern-making class, part of the Shilla Monogram program, held at the Activity Studio. When I arrived on time, the tables were already all set up, and besides the person giving the explanation, there were several staff members there too.

You asked me to write a short description and choose 2 to 3 colors, so I picked 2 colors. We each picked the fabric color we wanted and started making it, but shaping the lantern was harder than expected — attaching the fabric wasn't easy, so it didn't turn out as pretty as I imagined and it took quite a while.

Since I was making it anyway, I wanted to make it pretty. I worked hard gluing, sticking, and cutting things out... Now that I've finished making it, I feel like my lantern turned out the prettiest of all, haha.
