Newly opened behind the Melia Vinpearl Danang Riverfront Hotel — Dong Market ~ Dong Market ~ 9 AM ~ 8 PM No cards accepted! Cash and bank transfer only I was curious since they said it's like a mini version of Han Market, so I visited. Grab kept cancelling on me, and there were a lot of taxis in front of the hotel, so I showed the map to one of the drivers standing there and asked to go, but even the drivers didn't seem to know the place well. When I showed the address, they seemed to roughly know where it was, so they gave me a ride, haha. The air conditioning was on, so it was nice for shopping, and I liked that there weren't many people. Unlike a market where many different merchants each sell from their own booth... it seems like one person runs the whole shop, stocking items that Korean tourists tend to buy a lot, and selling those. There are several staff members... But there aren't that many items. You shouldn't think of it like a Korean traditional market ~ haha Bags, clothes, shoes, carriers, etc. — it feels like they just have a token selection of everything. There's not much to compare against when shopping... There aren't that many items either... I guess since they're mostly individual/private shops, the prices are a bit higher than at a traditional market. If your trip is long or you have plenty of time to spare, unless you're just visiting out of curiosity, if you're going there on purpose, then— I'll just go to Hang Gai street.. .. They said the Longchamp mini was cheap, but when I said 110,000 dong was too expensive, they showed me another one, which was also 110,000 dong, so I felt it and it had a different material from the expensive one and was thinner. I was going to buy a Bao Bao bag but it was more expensive than I expected... (If you already know the price range, wouldn't you not buy it because it's too expensive? hahaha) I just looked around and came out~^^ I was just curious, so I'm satisfied with having gone there once.
