Neighbors tired from the scorching heat~ shall we head off to a cool Alpine village~

This is a travel review from my trip to the Cheongyang Alps Village Festival last January. You know Korail sells train travel packages, right~~ I love that instead of driving myself, I get to ride the train and enjoy the scenery along the way, feeling that sense of excitement. Once you arrive at the train station, you transfer to a tour bus to continue on.

I went to the Cheongyang Ice Festival and the winter scenery was truly beautiful~~ There were intricate ice sculptures and wonderful photo zones everywhere~~♡ You could ride ice sleds and zip lines, and roast chestnuts too — there were so many different activities that lots of families with kids came along.

We also tried roasting chestnuts at the festival too... Roasting them was fun, but honestly it was just so delicious that I loved it lol We bought roasted sweet potatoes too, and wow, they were so tasty~ haha Seeing the photos makes me want to eat them again. I was born and raised in Gangwon-do, so I really love root vegetables like these. If there's anyone who doesn't eat sweet potatoes, corn, etc., feel free to share them with me lolol It was so hot today, so I hope seeing these ice festival photos gives you a cool, refreshing moment.
