First Impressions of Denmark: The City of Cycling Art Copenhagen makes quite a polarizing first impression. The streets aren't as clean as one might imagine, with numerous potholes dotting the roads, and cigarette butts and trash can occasionally be spotted; however, on the other hand, the neat arrangement of buildings, streetscapes without covered arcades, and the design of suspended street lamps all showcase a strong Nordic minimalist aesthetic. This place truly lives up to its name as the 'Kingdom of Bicycles.' On the streets, you can barely see motorcycles or cars—instead, cyclists of all ages are weaving through everywhere, and you even spot dads jogging while pushing baby strollers, which brings an irrepressible smile to your face. People here are generally warm and friendly, with service staff almost always warmly greeting you or lending a helping hand. In Freedom City, you can feel the artistic atmosphere flooding the streets, and whether it's the colorful graffiti on walls or the statues in front of churches, you simply can't help but pause and admire them. However, it should be noted that: most shops on Sundays are only open until evening, and Monday is when most museums are closed, so it's recommended to arrange your itinerary with special attention. 2. Itinerary Planning: Copenhagen Two-Day Itinerary Overview We arrived at Copenhagen Airport on Saturday evening, spent all day Sunday exploring the city by bicycle, and on Monday morning we visited Freetown and the church before flying to Helsinki. The itinerary is as follows: Day 1 | Copenhagen Bicycle Deep Experience The Little Mermaid Statue and Kastellet Fortress Amalienborg Palace Changing of the Guard Christiansborg Palace In-Depth Tour (Royal Reception Hall, Stables, Historic Ruins, Kitchen) Copenhagen Harbor Promenade & Evening Local Bar Experience Day 2 | Copenhagen Half-Day Tour & Flight to Helsinki Explore Christiania (The Free City) Climb the Spiral Tower of Saviour Church for Panoramic City Views SAS Flight to Helsinki, Finland III. Trip Preparation (Transportation Guide) Airport to City Center The metro takes just about 13 minutes. Tickets can be purchased at DSB ticket machines for 36 DKK.

City Transportation You can rent bicycles or take bus 2A (you can download the DOT Tickets App to purchase tickets, 24 DKK per trip). We've found that bicycles are extremely efficient for getting around and can also take you deep into the narrow alleys.

IV. Food and Accommodation Experience Sharing Food Experience: Smørrebrød Open-Faced Sandwich We experienced classic Danish cuisine at the well-known restaurant Restaurant Kronborg, which focuses mainly on seafood, especially recommending the pickled herring and fish sandwiches. Although a meal costs nearly NT$2,000, the ingredients are fresh and the flavors are unique, making it well worth trying.

The friend next door stayed in a suite (6400 TWD for two nights) and the space was noticeably much more spacious, so we'd suggest considering upgrading.
