🇰🇷 Gangneung Nochu Mountain Mojeongtap Road!! Don't just go to the sea — you have to check this place out too!

When you visit Gangneung, most people mainly go see the East Sea, right...? Do you know about Nochusan Mojeongtap Road, one of the 10 scenic spots of Gangneung? If you've read this post, please make sure to stop by sometime~~ I really recommend it~~ It's about a 2km round trip on flat ground, and it's a comfortable path, so it's easy to walk~

It was hard to believe that a woman had stacked all these stones by herself over an entire lifetime. Struggling with the grief of losing her daughter, she stacked 3,000 stone towers over a long span of 26 years. That devotion of a mother's heart nearly brought me to tears. As a parent with a daughter of my own, it hurt my heart even more.

⬇️ Right at the entrance, you'll come across the Gudo Jangwonbi monument dedicated to scholar Yulgok Yi I~~ They say Yulgok Yi I actually studied here at Nochuseo Mountain, haha. If you go, try walking around it a few times and make a wish~~

As you walk along the incredibly long stone wall path built along the winding valley, you can still find a small remnant of a hut. It made my heart feel heavy... ㅠㅠ Since it was November, the fallen leaves were scattering everywhere ㅠㅠ Next time, I'd like to visit during a season when the forest is lush and thick, to see a different scenery. It's really a great place to relax and enjoy in nature. Ah!!!! There's also a healing campsite right next to it, so it seems like it would be nice to use that together too~~
