Shall we take a look at the room types at Shilla Monogram Da Nang? 🛏️

The rooms at Sheraton Monogram Danang are broadly divided into three categories—hotel, residence, and villa—for a total of 309 rooms. A key feature is that every single room has an ocean view (either facing directly or to the side). The basic room types in the main hotel building (from Superior to Premier Deluxe) are all the same size, at 36㎡. The Superior rooms are located on floors 2–5 of the Main Building, the Deluxe rooms on the higher floors 6–10, and the Premier Deluxe rooms on the top floors 11–14 (which often come with Monogram Lounge benefits included). The Corner Suite offers a panoramic ocean view through windows on two sides at the corner of the building, while the Monogram Suite provides the largest and most luxurious suite experience.

With your room, you can enjoy complimentary use of the mini bar (once during your stay), the outdoor swimming pool (heated year-round), a private beach, sauna, therapy garden, and fitness center. Guests staying in Suite rooms or above (Residence class) also have access to the exclusive Monogram Lounge. Check-in is at 3:00 PM and check-out is at 12:00 PM.

We toured, in order, the Premier Family Room, Corner Suite, and Premier Deluxe Room, all located on the 9th floor. First up is the Premier Family Room (Room 932), 36㎡ (about 11 pyeong). Recommended if you're traveling with young children! You can rent baby items such as strollers, cribs, guard rails, and bathtubs, and kids care service is available regardless of which room you stay in, so it's a good idea to request it in advance. Children's amenities are also provided, which is such a thoughtful touch 👍

The second one is the corner suite (Room 938), 56㎡. It has a separate living room and bedroom structure and offers a panoramic view. There are only two of these on each side of the building, so if you want a high-floor corner suite, book quickly. The moment you step in, the wide-open window view is overwhelming, and with the bedroom and living room separated, plus separate toilet and bathroom, and two sinks, it looked really convenient to use. I was amazed by how neat and clutter-free it was, and I found myself wishing I could stay a few more days ^^

The third is the Premier Deluxe Room (Room 943), 36㎡. The Deluxe rooms (2nd–10th floors) and Premier Deluxe rooms (6th–10th floors) differ in location, and there's also a difference in bed orientation. If the balcony faces the front, it's a Premier Deluxe; if it faces the side, it's a Deluxe. Aside from the bed direction, the rest of the layout is identical. Lastly, there's the Residence Room (No. 1102), about 72㎡ (approx. 22 pyeong), which comes with a small kitchenette that gives you the comfort of home and is perfect for families or long-term guests. Since it's in a separate building from the main building, it offers more privacy, and unlike the main building, it has a view overlooking the pool. With 2 beds, 2 bathrooms, and a kitchen where you can actually cook, it's great for the whole family to gather and enjoy meals together. The residence building is low-rise, so room 1102 is actually located on the 2nd floor above ground — please keep this in mind when making your reservation.

A villa is the most private type of accommodation, being a standalone building — Monogram Villa sits right next to the beach, making it a great place for families and groups to relax in their own private space. The family room I actually stayed in (Room 532) had a side ocean view, but I loved that I could still enjoy a beautiful sunrise for all three nights. The Deluxe Room (Room 528) I stayed in last March had a front ocean view, so every morning I got to fully enjoy the sunrise and the pool. If you request rooms 27~30 during room assignment, you're guaranteed to get the front view 😁 I was surprised that the shower filter I used for 4 nights in March showed no color change even without being replaced — the water pressure and water quality at Shilla Monogram are really 👍 Thank you for reading this long post 🫶
