[Da Nang Trip Review✈️] Hoi An Mango Cake

March 2025 – a trip to Da Nang with a lovely lady ✈️ While walking around Hoi An's Old Town, there's something that looks like a sticky rice cake I often saw along the street, called BANH XOAI (Bánh Xoài) It says "mango cake" on it 3,000 dong each The lady with me suggested I try one, so I bought just one I like sticky rice cakes, but it says mango cake, so... It didn't look like a cake at all, so being the suspicious type, I decided to buy just one... lol. I tried it right away, and sure enough, it wasn't great 🤣🤣🤣 The texture was neither rice cake nor cake, and the filling — a lump of sugar with no mango in it — just wasn't to my taste 😅 When I went back in May, I looked around because I wanted to have a friend try one, but maybe it's because the weather got hotter, I didn't see it around in May~ It's only 3,000 dong each, which is super cheap, so I think it's worth trying at least once. But only for those who like sweet things ^^
