๐ง๏ธ Traveling to Da Nang in the rainy season: how should you spend the day when it rains?
Hello ๐ In Da Nang, the rainy season runs from autumn to early winter, so it rains quite often.
Especially in October and November, there are days when it rains all day long, so plans for the beach or Ba Na Hills can easily get ruined ๐ข
But it would be such a waste to just stay in your hotel! Today, I've put together an alternative itinerary for making the most of a rainy day in Da Nang โ

๐๏ธ 1. Indoor Sightseeing โ Museums & Art Galleries
On rainy days, the cultural spaces you've always passed by are just perfect!
โ๏ธ Museum of Cham Sculpture
It's located in the city center near the Dragon Bridge, so getting around is easy.
It's a place that houses stone sculptures from the ancient Champa Kingdom, so seeing them in person is far more impressive than in photos.
โ๏ธ Da Nang Museum of Fine Arts
You can see everything from traditional crafts to modern paintings. It's not overwhelmingly large, so it's great for a relaxed look around in about an hour ๐จ

๐โโ๏ธ 2. Massage โ The best thing to do on a rainy day
A massage on a rainy day is a hidden gem of a tip for your Da Nang trip!
โ๏ธ If you book the 2-hour course in the afternoon, half a day will fly by.
โ๏ธ Bookings fill up quickly on rainy days, so please reserve in advance via KakaoTalk or the app.
โ๏ธ If you choose a place with pickup and drop-off service, you won't have to worry about getting caught in the rain ๐

โ 3. Cafรฉ โ Take a break while listening to the sound of rain
Da Nang has so many cozy, aesthetic cafรฉs.
โ๏ธ Be sure to try Vietnamese-style coffee like coconut coffee and salt coffee at least once!
โ๏ธ Sitting in a cafรฉ with a view of the Han River and relaxing to the sound of the rain is a romance only the rainy season can offer ๐ฟ
โ๏ธ It's also a great place to bring your laptop and plan your next schedule.

๐๏ธ 4. Shopping โ Raiding the Supermarkets and Markets
โ๏ธ Lotte Mart & Large Shopping Malls Shop for souvenirs like dried mango, coffee, and instant noodles! It's indoors, so no need to worry about rain, and there's a food court too.๐ฅญ
โ๏ธ Han Market It's a covered indoor market, so it's perfectly fine even on rainy days. It's a great place to get a custom-made ao dai or browse for souvenirs.

๐๏ธ Recommended Itinerary for Rainy Days

๐ Lunch: A popular pho restaurant downtown
โ Afternoon: Relaxing at a cozy, aesthetic cafรฉ
๐ Late afternoon: 2-hour massage
