🇰🇷Ganghwa Pungmul Market, just thinking about the delicious bandaengi (glass gizzard shad) makes my mouth water~😁

It was a sunny winter day, colder than it is now, when we visited Ganghwa Pungmul Market!! It happened to be the day the 5-day market was open, so we took a quick look around the area~ But since we had a specific purpose for going, we moved on~

Going up to the second floor, they have my favorite mugwort rice cakes~ Ganghwa is famous for its mugwort~ But even that's not the main purpose~~

Right now, band-jaengi (gizzard shad) set menu!! You can find many famous ganghwa band-jaengi restaurants if you go up to the 2nd floor~~

We also settled into a restaurant and ordered a proper set meal~~ Sliced raw sardine (banjaeng-i hoe), soy sauce marinated crab, lettuce wraps, and more~ A full table spread was all set up!!

You've gotta start with a plate of banded blenny sashimi first~~ It's savory, tender, and absolutely delicious!!

Finally, the long-awaited baby anchovy salad is here~!! Doesn't it look so generous and delicious?? ^^ Add some chili peppers and garlic, wrap it up and eat it — it's so incredibly delicious!! Ah... that taste, I'm craving it again!! Guess I'll just have to wait until the day I go back..^^
