Stumbled into an alley in Hanoi, and it turns out to be a truly authentic Pho restaurant that even Baek Jong-won has visited 🍜

This is a pho restaurant I stumbled into as if by magic because it was packed with locals while I was walking through the alleys of Hanoi. Since it wasn't a touristy place and the menu was entirely in Vietnamese, I had to use a translator or just eyeball what people at the next table were eating to place my order. 📱😅 I later found out that this is actually a famous restaurant (Pho Thin) that even Baek Jong-won has visited! When eating, I thought it was just an ordinary local restaurant (Pho Cha Gia or similar), but I was amazed after finding out the truth later. Rich rice noodles with plenty of green onions: The combination of dipping freshly fried bread (Quẩy) into the savory, deep broth topped with a mountain of scallions was absolutely incredible. Even the local vibe of slurting noodles while sitting on low plastic chairs was perfect. 🍜 Ending with the night view of Hoan Kiem: After a hearty meal and a cup of coffee at a nearby cafe (Highlands), I enjoyed the night streets of Hanoi, taking in the beautiful night view of Hoan Kiem Lake with its red bridge and even watching a water puppet show. 🏮 Wandering in without any plans, I happened to find the best pho of my life, making it the most memorable moment of my trip.
