Danang review❣️Relaxing at the Orchid Lounge in Danang Airport~

I usually eat and hang out as much as possible outside and then head straight to the airport, so I never really use airport lounges... but this time, thanks to her recommendation (she came with me on this trip), I tried an airport lounge for the very first time lol. We got to the airport a little early and breezed through quickly, so there weren't many people in the lounge. I grabbed a comfy spot first, and since it was my first time, of course I had to switch into meerkat mode, right? lol I was busy looking here and there, snapping photos everywhere 😁 There were quite a few cozy sofas and spaces where you could relax comfortably, but as time went on, the good spots started filling up fast. Still, since there were seats where you could rest even for a little while, I thought using the lounge wasn't a bad idea at all.

The photos below are the foods at the Orchid Lounge — not exactly "wow, this is amazing" quality, but you can think of it as good enough to fill your stomach. I also filled a plate with the dishes most people were eating and had it together with cup noodles. Slurp~ it was nice for settling my stomach, and personally, I thought the chicken was tasty 😆

A drink and beverage fridge that's reassuring just to look at! Instead of beer, I drank a lot of soft drinks and water. I did want to have a can of beer, but... on the plane my heart races so fast it feels like it's about to burst, so I figured I shouldn't drink. When I went to Da Nang and had chimaek (chicken and beer), my heart felt like it was about to explode, and it was a little scary 😭 I guess alcohol just doesn't agree with my constitution. Since I wanted to get home safely, I skipped the beer this time! Haha

After eating until I was full, I took a walk around the lounge. There's a shower room near the entrance, and further inside there's a smoking room. Luckily, there was no one smoking, so I quickly snapped a photo! Click! Since someone was already using the shower room, I only took a picture of the shower space itself - only shampoo and body wash are provided there, so if you're planning to use it, it might be a good idea to bring your own personal toiletries as well. While watching the real-time flight information... I got to relax comfortably until it was time to board. I had never thought about using the lounge when traveling with a friend, but now that I've experienced it, I remember there were many good points. This was my review of using Orchid Lounge, where the advantages far outweighed the disadvantages ^^
