On our recent 3-day, 2-night trip to Da Nang, our family decided to stay at Altara Suites Da Nang (located on Vo Nguyen Giap Street, right in the My Khe Beach area), and I have to say the actual experience left us extremely satisfied!

🏠 Fully equipped apartment – Complete with a washer, dryer and a kitchen for cookingThe most valuable plus of Altara Suites is its serviced apartment model. Our family booked a 2-bedroom unit, and the moment we walked in, we were amazed by how spacious it was and how new the furnishings were.

• Living Room & Kitchen: An extra-spacious living room area that connects directly to the kitchen. The kitchen here is fully equipped with everything from an induction cooktop, a range hood, a large double-door refrigerator and a microwave to bowls, plates, pots and pans, so you won't be missing a single thing. In the evening, we went to the seafood market to buy super fresh seafood, then steamed it and made hotpot ourselves. It saved us money and was an absolute blast!

• A thoughtful touch: The apartment even comes with a washer-dryer combo. After a swim at the beach, just toss your clothes in for a quick wash and dry and you'll have clean clothes to wear right away, with no worries about them picking up that damp, musty sea smell. The older members of our group absolutely loved this!

🏊‍♂️ 32nd-floor infinity pool and gym with sweeping views of the entire Son Tra PeninsulaAltara's amenities area is located on the top floor (32nd floor), and it is truly a top-notch experience:

• Sky pool: Located at this height, the view is absolutely open and unobstructed. From the pool, you look straight out at My Khe Beach and the lush green mountain range of the Son Tra Peninsula. Coming up here early in the morning for a swim, breathing in the fresh air, and admiring the city from above feels incredibly refreshing.

• Gym & Sauna: The glass-walled gym with a top-notch sea view really boosts your motivation to work out. Plus, after your workout, guests can also use the excellent sauna room completely free of charge!

🍳 A carefully prepared breakfast buffet and a quiet atmosphereAlthough it's an apartment-style property, the breakfast buffet at Altitude restaurant (floor 32A) is still very well-prepared and varied. The food has everything from Western dishes to traditional bún and phở noodle dishes, all seasoned just right. What I like is that the restaurant space is very elegant and quiet, without feeling too hectic and noisy like many other purely hotel-style places during peak hours.

📍 Prime location – Convenient from every directionThe hotel is located on Vo Nguyen Giap beachfront road (Phuoc My beach area). Just a few steps on foot and you're at the beach. This location is closer to the Son Tra Peninsula, so the air is very fresh, and it's a little less crowded than the city center, yet driving into town for food or out to the Han River Bridge only takes about 5-7 minutes.

Summary: 9.4/10 points. Altara Suites truly deserves to be the top choice for families traveling with young children, groups of 4-6 close friends, or anyone who enjoys a long vacation in Da Nang.
