The driver I met during my trip last May came, so I felt a little glad to see him again... but there were a few disappointing points, so I'll write a separate review about the rental car experience~ First of all, the driver arrived at the hotel right on time. Our first destination was a café I'd really wanted to visit~ But when we got there... it was gone lol 😅 Google said it was open, but when we arrived, it had turned into a construction site. As plan B, we went to a nearby place that supposedly had a windmill and animals you could see, but that place wasn't open either. The animals were there, but the café's front gate was closed. After wandering around for a while, we headed to the cafe she had wanted to visit — S2 Station, located not too far away. This place turned out to be a totally local cafe too, with only locals around. We ordered one iced bạc xỉu and one warm bạc xỉu, and decided to look around the cafe~ The drinks were pretty cheap — one bạc xỉu was only 30,000 dong!! I wonder if the owner here likes camping... The outside was decorated to feel like a campsite, while the inside had an indoor structure with air conditioning. It seemed like they renovated a regular house to run the cafe! Since we weren't hot, we sat in the spot that felt like a campsite, chatted away, and had a time filled with nonstop laughter. We had a refreshing glass of Park Ssiwoo and got up, only to find soot smudges on our legs 😅 Ugh~ soot was smeared all over everything, I was so embarrassed;; We wiped it off with the wet wipes we'd brought along, laughing about how it became yet another funny story. The shampoo was a fail, the fruit was a fail, the café was a fail too, you know those days where nothing seems to go right? It was one of those days where nothing worked out no matter what we did... But somehow it was still so much fun that even just mentioning the shampoo made us laugh We laughed even just talking about fruit, and we laughed at how she turned into a chimney sweep at the café — it was a day we spent laughing the whole evening 😁
