TEH DAR – An hour stepping into the world of the Central Highlands in the middle of Hoi An

Hoi An is often remembered for its golden houses, lanterns, and the Hoai River. But right in the middle of the old town, there is a completely different experience: a show that brings the culture of the Central Highlands onto the stage through bamboo, music, and acrobatic performances.

That's TEH DAR, performed at the Hoi An Lune Center – a bamboo dome-shaped theater located right in the An Hoi area.

TEH DAR is not a folk performance show in the style of standing and watching separate individual acts. A show combining Vietnamese bamboo circus, acrobatics, storytelling, and live music to recreate the world of the highland communities of the Central Highlands. The bamboo rings, bamboo stalks, and rustic props became part of the stage.
