The Anchor Trần Phú — a German beer pub in the heart of Hải Châu, with more than 50 kinds of imported beer

Walking along Tran Phu street, it's hard to miss the three-story brown brick building at 83-85-87 with its blue and white Bavarian-style arched entrance and the BEER HALL sign above. That's The Anchor Bierhaus & Steak — the "German beer" branch of the Anchor system, a brand that has been in Da Nang since 2013.

🍺 What to drink?

Anchor's strength is beer: the system has more than 50 types of beer imported from Germany and Belgium, plus more than 130 types of French and Italian wine if your group prefers wine. Beer is poured into large glasses in a bierhaus style, suitable for the style of sitting for a long time and talking a lot.

🍖 What should we eat?

The menu features Western – Asian dishes. The dishes the restaurant recommends are its signature ones: Australian beef tenderloin, German-style pork knuckle, salmon sashimi, seafood asparagus soup, cheese pho, and spaghetti with minced beef sauce.

There are also beer-pairing dishes like burger, French fries, croquette… great to order to share for the whole table.

🏠 Space — even with a large group, it's still fine

The venue holds about 120–150 guests: the 1st floor seats about 80 guests plus 32 outdoor seats, the 2nd floor seats about 60 guests, and there are 2 private rooms for 20 and 10 guests.

There is a projector and event decoration service available, so it can be used for birthdays, company parties, or family gatherings. Last autumn, the venue even held an Oktoberfest with a genuine German beer-festival atmosphere.
