Tip for using the pool at Shilla Monogram Danang 🏊

The outdoor swimming pool at Shilla Monogram Danang consists of 4 pools arranged in tiers, and a key feature is that all the pools are heated, so you can enjoy them comfortably regardless of the weather or time of day. It's located on the outdoor 1st floor of the hotel (facing the sea), and operating hours are 7:00~22:00. However, the infant/kids pool and the private beach are only open until 19:00. Last March, I went there with my husband in the afternoon and had a great time splashing around in the water.

The infant sand pool has a water depth of 0.3m and is connected to a sandy beach area, making it suitable for young toddlers to play in. It's designed to look just like a soft white sand beach has been moved right there, so you can fully enjoy playing in the sand without even having to go to the beach, and there's also a space right next to the pool where you can rinse off any sand stuck to your body. However, since the sand is so close by, some sand may end up getting into the pool. The kids' pool has a water depth of 0.8m, allowing children to use it safely, making it a perfect fit for families traveling together.

At the pool bar, you can order sparkling wine as well as light meals, fast food, and various drinks and alcoholic beverages, so it's great that you can grab a meal there without having to go outside when you get hungry from swimming. However, please note that outside food is not allowed to be brought in. Beach towels and swimming gear are available in two spots: the first is next to the pool bar (tubes, life jackets, and swim gear provided free of charge), and the second is between the family pool and the infinity pool. Just let us know your room number when you'd like to borrow some. There are shower facilities scattered around the back of the cabanas, so please practice good manners by rinsing off before and after swimming.

We highly recommend the cabana for families traveling together, those who plan to spend a long time by the pool, or anyone looking for extra comfort.

The Another (Family) Pool has a water depth of 1.2m, so the whole family can enjoy it together. It's famous for being a hot-water pool open all year round, so it seemed to have the most visitors — but since the water isn't too deep, even I, who can't swim well, had a lot of fun. There are also so many photo spots that I lost track of time. The Infinity Adult Pool has a water depth of 1.2m and is only open to guests aged 19 and up. It's famous as a hotspot for amazing photos thanks to its panoramic ocean view that feels connected to the sea and its transparent glass walls! Using it at sunset rather than in the heat of the day made for a much better atmosphere.

Guests can enjoy the pool and sun loungers free of charge. Lie back on a sun lounger, gaze at the water, and take some time to relax while soaking in the atmosphere. The night pool, glowing with vibrant lighting, was truly beautiful too. Be sure to snap some unforgettable photos of yourself at the infinity pool!
