Experience dragging fishing nets, feel the breath of the sea at Mân Thái
While the city is still shrouded in quiet stillness, Mân Thái beach has already come alive with the bustling livelihood activities of fishermen.
In the salty scent of the early morning sea breeze, visitors get to watch the sunrise over the sandy beach, follow fishermen as they haul in their nets, witness baskets of fresh seafood just brought ashore, and immerse themselves in the bustling atmosphere of the early morning fish market.

There are travel experiences that are not just about sightseeing, but also about touching everyday life, blending in with the local people, and feeling the rhythm of the sea. Coming to Vinh Loc beach, visitors have the chance to discover a rustic, familiar yet vibrant traditional trade – the craft of beach seine net pulling.

From the 4th to the 7th lunar month, when the sea enters its favorable season, the local people once again organize seine-net hauls along the coastline. No modern equipment is needed — with human strength alone, coordinated teamwork, and experience passed down through many generations, each ring of the net is gradually drawn in to shore, bringing with it the bounty of the sea.
The most interesting thing about beach seine net fishing isn't just the catch, but also the sense of community. Everyone has their own task — some pull the net, some gather it in, others assist from the shore… All of it comes together to create a lively collective activity, clearly showing the spirit of solidarity. The fish catches are pulled ashore with many kinds of fresh seafood that traders as well as locals eagerly await, quickly buying the freshest and finest seafood for themselves.
