Drinking coffee alone in Da Nang: 4 cafes where no one will bother you
Not every coffee outing is about meeting someone. Some mornings you just want to sit quietly, maybe open your laptop, or maybe nothing at all.
After some time hunting for the perfect spot to work, I've found 4 cafes where you can sit for 3 hours without anyone giving you uncomfortable looks.
Nam House Coffee (Hai Chau) Charming old building with high ceilings and soft music. Plenty of outlets and decent wifi. Early mornings are especially nice—almost just you and the gentle hum of the ceiling fan.
2. Cong Ca Phe (Han River view) Busier, but the window seats on the 2nd floor are quiet. Order the coconut coffee and sit watching Dragon Bridge.
3. Xofa Café (Sơn Trà) Open 24/7. The best place for anyone working across time zones or dealing with insomnia. Even at 2am, you'll still find people sitting there typing away on their laptops.
4. The Coffee House (An Thượng) Nothing special, but reliable. Cool air conditioning, spacious tables, and no one asks how long you've been sitting there.
The common points: no loud music, no staff constantly coming over to ask questions, and there's a power outlet. Those three things are enough.
