During my trip to Da Nang this April, I flew Eastar Jet for the first time on the Incheon ↔ Da Nang route. It turned out to be much more comfortable and efficient than I expected, so I was really satisfied with the airline. In particular, thanks to the self check-in and self bag-drop system available right from the departure hall, I was able to significantly cut down on waiting time, which let me start my trip in a great mood from the very beginning.

As its name suggests, Eastar Jet is South Korea's representative low-cost carrier (LCC), and its name carries the meaning of the "Star" of the "East." The brand slogan introduced on its website is "Travel, made easy. Easy Flight, Eastarjet," reflecting its commitment to making air travel—which can feel complicated and difficult—something anyone can experience easily and comfortably. That's the meaning it carries. Especially after experiencing it firsthand on this trip, I really felt that this slogan suits this airline perfectly 😊 Since its founding in 2007, Eastar Jet has been an airline that has led the popularization of air travel with reasonable prices. Recently, under the name 'NEW EASTAR,' it has been focusing on safety and convenience. They say they're strengthening it even further. Above all, what impressed me most was how high the ratio of new aircraft was. Currently, about 50% of their fleet is made up of new aircraft, and the cabin condition was actually incredibly clean and comfortable. The aircraft I boarded on this Da Nang route was none other than the Boeing B738 ✈️ The best-selling aircraft in the world It's one of the best-selling aircraft, known as a representative short- to medium-haul model with proven efficiency and safety. It's often called the "king of short-haul routes.

The seating layout was a 3-3 configuration, and although there were no individual monitors, everything was arranged in a practical way overall. All the seats had leather upholstery, which gave a nice clean feeling, and the interior of the cabin was kept quite tidy as well. Since I wanted a bit more comfort, I purchased a front-row seat in advance, and I was definitely satisfied because boarding and deplaning were much faster from the front seats 👍 I could check in via mobile and drop off my baggage myself through self bag-drop, so the check-in process was handled much faster. On weekends or during peak travel season, just waiting at the airport can be exhausting, but the departure process was noticeably easier, and I really felt the slogan “Travel, made easy” 😊
