Chicken sticky rice has been close to my heart for nearly 20 years – from when I was young until I started working

There are some dishes that don't need to be elaborate, but because we've eaten them since childhood, just mentioning them immediately brings back memories of that time in our youth.

The chicken sticky rice shop on Nguyen Thi Minh Khai Street is one of those special places for me. I've been eating here since I was little until I started working, and that's been nearly 20 years now. 🥹

🍚 The sticky rice is soft and chewy, and it's just right to eat while hot.🍗 The chicken is chewy and firm, not mushy at all, so it goes really well with the sticky rice.🌶️ Especially the chili sauce, which is spicy, lightly sweet, and seasoned just right — mixed with the sticky rice and chicken, it gets more addictive with every bite.

What I love most is that the flavor still manages to keep that familiar feeling from long ago. From when I was a child eating a serving of sticky rice, to now when I go to work but still occasionally come back to eat it — nearly 20 years have passed and I still don't get tired of it. ❤️

Perhaps for many people, this is just an ordinary serving of sticky rice with chicken, but for me, it's also a piece of childhood memory.

Anyone in the Nguyen Thi Minh Khai area should really give it a try at least once!
