What time does the Han River swing bridge rotate?

The Han River Bridge is the only swing bridge in Vietnam. Around midnight, the middle section of the bridge rotates 90 degrees along the river to let boats pass through, then turns back to its original position afterward. Filming usually happens around 11 PM to midnight, but it's not absolutely fixed — it depends on the train schedule, so please double-check with the locals or the hotel front desk to be sure. For standing and watching, either end of the bridge works fine, but the west bank side (Bach Dang) is more spacious and has a place to park your vehicle. The bridge closes to vehicle traffic before it rotates, so if you're planning to drive across the bridge around that time, you should plan for a detour. Honestly, the scenery isn't as spectacular as many people imagine — it's slow and quiet. What's even more worth seeing is the river at night: the entire eastern bank lights up, and the Dragon Bridge and Tran Thi Ly Bridge shine at the same time.
