What time does the Han River swing bridge rotate?

Translated from Vietnamese
Đà Nẵng về đêm nhìn từ bờ sông Hàn, có cầu quay sông Hàn bên phải
Sông Hàn và cầu bắc qua sông

The Han River Bridge is the only rotating bridge in Vietnam. Around midnight, the middle section of the bridge rotates 90 degrees along the river to allow boats to pass through, then returns to its original position. The rotation usually happens between around 11 PM and midnight, but it's not fixed for certain — it depends on the train schedule, so it's best to double-check with the locals or the hotel front desk to be sure. You can view from both ends of the bridge, but the west bank side (Bạch Đằng) is more spacious and has parking space. The bridge is closed to vehicle traffic before the turning time, so if you're planning to drive across the bridge at that time, you should plan for an alternate route. To be honest, the filming scene isn't as spectacular as a lot of people imagine — it's slow and quiet. What's even more worth seeing is the river at night: the entire east bank lights up, and both the Dragon Bridge and Tran Thi Ly Bridge shine together.
